Using our websites
These terms cover the Brookside Consultancy main website and our marketing, technology, creative and eLearning sites. You may browse the sites, read articles, use the public tools and contact us about a project.
Do not attempt unauthorised access, interfere with other visitors, upload harmful material or use our forms to send unsolicited messages. We may limit access where needed to protect the service.
SECTION 02
Enquiries and project agreements
Sending a form or receiving an estimate does not create a project contract or reserve delivery time. We will confirm the scope, deliverables, price, payment schedule and responsibilities in writing before work begins.
Marketing, technology, creative and course projects have different requirements. A signed proposal or project agreement takes priority over general website descriptions for that engagement. Ask us to clarify assumptions before accepting a proposal.
SECTION 03
Content, images and ownership
Our website copy, brand identity and original materials belong to Brookside or their respective rights holders. You may link to our pages and quote short excerpts with attribution. Ask before republishing substantial content or using our logo to suggest a partnership.
Portfolio concepts are labelled as examples; they are not evidence of commissioned work or achieved client results. Wallpaper photographs have their own photographer credits and licence links. Follow the licence shown beside each download. Ownership and licences for commissioned work are agreed in the project contract.
SECTION 04
Links and third-party services
Links to other websites are provided for context or convenience. Their operators control their content, availability, privacy practices and terms. Clicking a WhatsApp link opens a separate service.
Our cookie controls govern optional analytics on this website. They do not control cookies on sites you visit after following an external link. You can change your website cookie choices through Cookie settings in the footer.
SECTION 05
Calculators, downloads and learning tools
Salary, import-duty, VAT and project-cost tools provide estimates or draft outputs, not professional advice, formal quotations or statutory submissions. Check the displayed dataset, effective date and review date. Confirm tax or customs decisions with the relevant authority or adviser.
The invoice generator does not submit invoices to eTIMS. A project-cost range depends on the scope and supplied content. Tool emails contain the requested resource or summary; sending one does not subscribe you to marketing. NENO is a daily word game, with progress saved on your device.
SECTION 06
Availability and reasonable limitations
We aim to keep pages and tools useful and accurate, but errors, maintenance and service interruptions can occur. Tell us about a problem so we can investigate it. Keep copies of important information rather than relying on a website result as your only record.
We do not exclude liability or statutory rights that the law does not allow us to exclude. Responsibility for a paid engagement, including any agreed limits and remedies, is addressed in its written contract. Nothing here guarantees a particular campaign, commercial or learning outcome.
SECTION 07
Questions and disputes
Please contact us first with the page or project reference, what happened and the resolution you are seeking. We will route the concern to the appropriate team and try to resolve it directly.
A project agreement may specify governing law and a dispute process. These website terms do not remove rights you may have under applicable consumer or other mandatory law. Do not treat this page as a promise of a particular court or jurisdiction for every visitor.
SECTION 08
Changes to these terms
We may update these terms when our services, tools or website practices change. The version date identifies the current text. Review the terms when starting a new engagement or using a tool for an important decision.
Changes to a signed project agreement require the process set out in that agreement; updating a website page does not silently change an existing contract.
