THE STARTING POINT
The brief
The fictional organisation has valuable programme information spread across reports and presentations. Its profile tries to include everything, leaving partners unsure what the team does and where to find supporting evidence.
Our approach
Build an editorial structure around the reader’s questions. Separate programme summaries from supporting detail, use a consistent hierarchy, and give every claim an owner and a source before layout approval.
Who this is designed for
Prospective partners, funders and programme collaborators reviewing the organisation.
A well-designed profile helps the reader find the evidence.
The key design decision
Use a clear reading path and verified evidence instead of adding more pages.
A practical delivery plan
Week 1 · Gather and structure
Agree the intended reader and document purpose. Review source material, flag unsupported claims and build a page plan.
Weeks 2–3 · Design and review
Develop a sample spread, then lay out the full profile with programme summaries, diagrams and a clear contact section. Gather consolidated feedback.
Week 4 · Check and export
Proofread names, dates and references. Export a print version and a smaller screen-friendly PDF, with an editable file handover.

Review, handover and ownership
The proposed handover includes editable working files, a named content or system owner, and a short walkthrough. The team would agree how feedback is collected, which issues block release, and who maintains the work after sign-off. Any additional scope would be discussed before it changes the timeline.
How we would evaluate the work
The acceptance criteria below define what to check during the pilot. They are not performance claims. A live engagement would establish a baseline, confirm access to the right data, and agree a review period before reporting outcomes.
