THE STARTING POINT

The brief

Interest alone does not fill an event. The fictional organiser needs one consistent answer to the questions people actually ask: where to go, what it costs, who it is for, and how to register.

Our approach

Create a single event information page, a concise registration journey, and a phased content schedule. Adapt the message for partners, social channels and direct enquiries while keeping the event facts consistent.

Who this is designed for

Lilongwe residents and partner organisations considering a local learning and networking event.

Good event marketing answers the practical questions early.

The key design decision

Treat the event information page as the source of truth, so schedule changes do not leave conflicting instructions across channels.

A practical delivery plan

Week 1 · Establish the facts

Confirm venue, accessibility information, capacity, programme, pricing and a named contact. Agree the process for updates.

Weeks 2–3 · Prepare and invite

Build the registration page, partner toolkit and launch content. Check confirmation messages and registration exports with the organiser.

Weeks 4–5 · Remind and learn

Publish practical reminders, answer common questions and review registration sources. Prepare an attendance check-in sheet and post-event feedback questions.

Review, handover and ownership

The proposed handover includes editable working files, a named content or system owner, and a short walkthrough. The team would agree how feedback is collected, which issues block release, and who maintains the work after sign-off. Any additional scope would be discussed before it changes the timeline.

How we would evaluate the work

The acceptance criteria below define what to check during the pilot. They are not performance claims. A live engagement would establish a baseline, confirm access to the right data, and agree a review period before reporting outcomes.
